Local Dealerships & Traditional Manufacturers: Leading the Charge to Offer Reliable EVs to Consumers

Recently, Consumer Reports released its annual Top Picks for electric vehicles. Its findings made it clear that customers recognize the commitment auto manufacturers and their local franchise dealership partners have made to bringing EVs to the forefront of the auto industry.

One of the newest Ford EVs off the production line, the 2022 Mustang Mach-E, took top marks in the EV category for Consumer Reports’ annual list of top cars for 2022. CR found the Mach-E’s “road-test score, predicted reliability, owner satisfaction, and safety” far superior to the rest of the EV field.

In a head-to-head test, CR pitted the Mach-E against the Tesla Model 3 and the Model Y. They determined the Ford to be quieter, sportier, and more practical than the other models.

The success and popularity of the Mach-E aren’t an anomaly. Right now, according to customers, automakers are simply making the EVs that people want to drive, and consumers prefer to purchase their vehicles from local dealerships with knowledgeable experts and excellent service.

The future is clearly electric, and local dealerships and manufacturers are cementing their status as the auto industry’s EV leaders.
